HI SC family,
I have had little to no time to dedicate to photography due to major changes in my life over the last few months. Though life is still hectic, I have decided to set some rules for myself to ensure that I continue to develop as a photographer. Rule #1: Post at least one picture a week to SC. So... here is my photo for this week!
About the photo:
This past summer, while spending time with family in Lagos, Nigeria, i decided to tag along with my mom as she made one of her monthly visits to the market place. It took waiding through disgusting ankle deep black mud (you DO NOT want to step foot in Ketu Market in the height of the rainy season) to meet some really warm and expressive people. This is photo #1 in the Ketu Market series.
I know I have a lot to learn re:portraiture so PLEASE be critical! I will be better for it.
